Find answers to common questions about NutriState, our editorial process, and supplement science.
What makes NutriState different from other supplement sites?
NutriState focuses on practical supplement education. Claims are linked to primary sources where applicable. We disclose all affiliate relationships, sponsorships, and advertising. Some higher-stakes articles are reviewed by a qualified professional. No marketing hype.
Are your product reviews actually unbiased?
Yes. Our editorial rankings and product recommendations are based entirely on evidence and value, never influenced by affiliate status or sponsorship. We explicitly disclose when we earn commissions and why we recommend products.
Who writes NutriState articles?
Our team includes editorial contributors with backgrounds in sports nutrition and supplement research. Meet the team on our About page.
How do you verify the claims in your articles?
Claims are linked to primary sources where applicable. Sourcing depth scales with content type — cornerstone articles include structured references; quick guides focus on actionable takeaways. For contested topics, we present findings from both sides.
How does NutriState make money?
We fund the site through three channels: affiliate commissions (when you buy through our links), sponsorships from supplement brands (clearly labeled), and contextual ads (Google AdSense). None of these influence editorial recommendations. See our full advertising disclosure.
Do you accept sponsored content?
Yes, we occasionally partner with supplement brands for sponsored content. All sponsored articles are clearly labeled at the top. Sponsorship does not affect the scientific accuracy or research standards of the article.
What are your editorial standards?
Our standards include FDA/FTC compliance for health claims, clear affiliate disclosure, transparent correction policy, and editorial review for some higher-stakes content. Sourcing depth and article length vary by content type — cornerstone articles get the most depth, quick guides stay focused and actionable. See full standards on the Editorial Standards page.
How do I report an error or outdated information?
We appreciate corrections and updates. Email corrections@nutristate.es with details about the error and source. We typically respond within 2-5 business days. Corrections are noted in the article footer.
Do you sell supplements or coaching?
No. NutriState is a research publication only. We do not sell supplements, coaching, or other products. We only earn affiliate commissions when you buy through our links to third-party retailers.
Can I use your content elsewhere?
Our content is copyrighted. For permissions, email corrections@nutristate.es. Limited quotations with proper attribution are acceptable under fair use. No bulk republishing without permission.
How often do you update articles?
We update articles when significant new research emerges or when errors are discovered. Updated articles show the update date below the title and in the article metadata. Major updates are noted in a "Updates" section.
Do you have a newsletter?
Yes. Our weekly newsletter delivers key supplement findings, protocol notes, and links to full research breakdowns. Sign up at the bottom of the homepage. We never spam or sell email addresses.
